Jesus - Far Superior

Jesus Christ is far superior to everyone and everything. This is a clear statement made in and by the Book of Hebrews. It might seem that this statement would not need to be made to those who profess faith in Jesus Christ, but that is exactly what the writer of Hebrews does. To those who had doubt, and those who had an incomplete reliance upon Jesus - Hebrews is written to be a deep and thorough presentation of the matchless Person and work of Jesus Christ.
The necessity to understand what is contained in this book is vividly expressed within the first part.

Hebrews 2:1,3a- "For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. .....how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?"

These words are both an exhortation and a warning to take seriously the Person and work of Jesus as presented in this letter. this is what we will seek to do together as we walk through it's pages and truths.
