God - The Only True Hero

Judges is an interesting and often neglected book of the Bible because it is filled with odd and challenging accounts.

Things which challenge our often sanitized assumptions about God. And because of this we often have only a very limited knowledge of a couple of men mentioned here, Gideon and Sampson; and in that a shallow knowledge of them.

However, in our current exploration of Judges we will clearly see that it is God who is the only real Hero who works out His plan in the world. He does it in the way He chooses. In this series we will be consistently reminded of Who God really is, and who we really are.
